Thank you Jeff
I am on windows 10 64bit, everytime I have an update on the adobe cloud I was getting this error. It has been driving me nuts. I came across this article and want to thank you for this information. I ended up running the cleaning tool which gave me a nice and clean uninstall and reinstalled the adobe cloud which fixed my updating issues. What would be nice to see tho is on the error page for this error 306 is more information like you gave here. Because just doing a manual download wouldn't fix it and I do believe is all that did was just corrupt the cloud files.
Again Thank you for this support
Steve
