Fuse download NOT possible!

Hi, I have tried for days now to download Fuse. Absolutely no luck whatsoever.

This seems to be quite a general problem judging by all the posts here - I think Adobe needs to check this out prontissimo!

I had no problem updating PS, AI and ID and downloading Muse - with the very same settings as for the just mentioned apps after 14 hours of downloading there is not even 1% download showing!

In fact, after a few hours it just pretends I never even asked for a download. And this day after day!

This is unbearable!

Any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try mounting Dmg file from Disk Utility and check.

Exact same result with disk utility.

I have 100 % of my messages being moderated also ...

I'm downloading the DMG so I can look at what you must be seeing.

One thing by the way, did you open the DMG with DiskImageMounter? If you used something else, like Pacifist for example, that could cause confusion.

I used default tool from the Mac. I have not such thing as Pacifist.

Open Assets1_1 zip file and if possible post screenshot. I cannot download anything from where I am accessing Forum , it is restricted. or I would have tried myself downloading again.

I do not see anything in either message which needs Moderation... but since I do not work for Adobe (and even Adobe does not seem to know exactly how the Jive owned anti-spam module works) I really don't know why messages are put into Moderation

I DO know that late yesterday the anti-spam module "hiccupped" and about 50 messages that were clearly spam were allowed through to a forum, while some messages from the same spammers were caught in Moderation

There is just no way for anyone that I know of to predict what the anti-spam module is going to do at any given time

Yea, Thanks for the clarification .

But I am not upset with that , , I just wanted to notify with proof hehe U know its weekend , cant spend a lot of time here .Ah! Weekend plans.

I am an Ex-Technical Support guy and I can certainly understand technical issues or changes in policy, spam filters malfuncation...etc , its pretty usual experience. Through out my professional life I've been hunting technical issues ,this is trying to slow me down hehe. so just a lil notification with proof lol.

I'm a moderator and letting these through as quick as I can! The forum doesn't like short messages with embedded pictures, looks like spam to the system.

Nope its not the issue ,, even when I type plain simple text like You are welcome, it is not posting without moderator approval.

I dint posted any pics still I queued for moderator approval , I posted pic as a proof later to address the issue.

I have the same issue of 100% messages being sent to moderation (cleary, some kind of evil wizard really wants to prevent me to test FUSE ).

I have let the management know!

Meanwhile, my download finished, and I see the same thing you do, in the DMG. But, if you go into that Fuse folder and unzip the file Fuse.zip, you'll get a working copy of the application.

Thanks for the update. I doubted whether that Zip file contains installer file or not , Thanks for clearing my doubt. This is a new format I guess.

It is better to try with Winrar / WinZip for extracting Rar files instead of 7-Zip. No need to download Fuse.7z file again , simply download Winrar once and try . Its only 2 MB in size.

Many of the users have resolved the issue by downloading the setup file from direct link ( Prodesigntools).

or you may have to try below steps.

If the progress is getting stalled at 0% via Adobe Creative Cloud , it clearly states that there is an issue with download process initialization .

Also if all other apps download starts fine and issue occurs only with Fuse CC means , it might be reason because you are downloading file bigger in size compared to other apps.

Make sure to clear Temp folder , so that necessary disk space is made available to download required files.

There is no limit for User Temp folder storage, however it will get crowded over the duration of time.

Just in case , if the progress exhibit same behavior at 42 % means, that you can call extraction issue. To avoid this particular case , try installing Apps like WinRar, WinZip before starting download process.

This issue can also occurs due to firewall blockage, this you can rectify by disabling firewall temporarily.

For Mac users after downloading DMG file , open Fuse.zip archive inside and then proceed with installation process.

All the links provided on the Prodesigntools website are genuine Adobe links .

It is just an Indexing website , which had arranged the links in order , so that user can download it directly.

For Example:

http://trials3.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/FUSE/2015_1/win32/Fuse_2015_1_UE.7z

As we can clearly see , its an link from Adobe.

JMathewsAdobe just bumbles along helplessly and uselessly - she should not be on this Forum. She lacks acumen and experience.

Jeff A Wright is the opposite - he is just so used to all of this, he works by his standard formulae without ever bothering to actually react to ALL that was said.

I am out of here now. I'll get Fuse probably June next year AND I SHALL NEVER TRY A PREVIEW AGAIN

and now I have a folder full of useless garbage and certainly no Fuse

You gave the easy case for Mac, where you unzip that fuse.zip file to get a working application, but the set of files in the Windows archive is quite different, and I couldn't work out which of the files was the installer or the application itself. The archive doesn't include any EXEs, mainly just several asset archives.
