Got paid Photoshop account for months but now starts asking to buy

I have used Photoshop CC now for a couple of months paying by debit order. All of a sudden when opening it tells me I'm on a free trail version.

In my accounts setup there is no information that I have already paid and only tells me that I have to buy.

How do I re-activate my account?

I have recently moved my Photoshop CC programme file to my second drive, would this have anything to do with it?

There might possibility of license files issues as you had moved the application to different drive.

During Activation process the licenses keys will be created under folders like for example : SLCache under C:>Program Files(x86) >Common Files >Adobe. and other locations.

However , it is better to check with basic steps first.

Second drive means its like different drive or secondary storage like SSD , External HDD?  or just different logical drive on same HDD like from C:Drive to D: drive?

Sign out from Adobe Creative Cloud app once and Sign in again and check :

Still same?? we will need to check with Hosts file to confirm that there are no Adobe entries with loop back address.

1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named Hosts inside etc folder.

2)Copy the Hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad.

Let me know whether you can see any Adobe related entries inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc??

Hi Brucgovn, many thanks for your reply.

I tried again signing out and in again - no success.

The entries in the host file does not appear in it.

I'm on a 64 bit system and followed the path C:\Windows\SysWOW64\drivers but there is not \etc folder there.

Will appreciate your reply.

Thanks, Peter
