During installation process, the program stopped at 99% and said I need to close Safari but its not open.  What can I do to continue?

Did this occur because we started the Install with Safari open?  Do I need to re-start the entire process with it closed?

Ultimate0024 can you go under the Apple Menu and select Force Quit.  Do you see Safari listed as a program which is active?
