I have Photoshop 7 running under Windows XP SP3 and I want to install it in my new PC (and will remove it from the old) which is running Windows 10 64 bit.

Photshop 7 works fine for me but I assume that it will not run on Windows 10 64 bit of my new PC. I do not use PS often enough to justify signing up to a rental plan, I would like to buy it outright but only need software that does what PS 7 does. What should I do?

Its been a long time since I used PS 7

You can run VM in windows 10 home addition

but I think it will cost you.

Hi jbm007,

As I said in my post, Photoshop 7 needs to run under Windows XP SP3. Vista is a later version of Windows, so I guess I can't do what you suggest as you say that the Windows 10 compatibility option only goes back to Vista.

I may be able to run Photoshop 7 in a Windows 10 Virtual Machine, however although this is supposed to be built into Windows 10, it does not appear to be in my Home version.
