Hi,
I am trying to install the cs5 Master Collection on my Windows 7 PC, and I get through to clicking install and before it gets anywhere it throws up an error that reads "ERROR: DF016: Failed to create required folders". On the Adobe knowledge base it says something about the file permissions, and I have tried to follow the instructions to allow full access to the program files folder. However I'm not 100% sure I did it right, and it still isn't working. But I don't understand why it would have an issue with the file permissions, all the other programs by other manufacturers have always intalled into there with no issues. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ross
Ah I've fixed the problem... What I did was uninstall all other adobe products, using Add/Remove Programs, and then the install just ran completely smoothly.
Thanks for the help tho!

R_7 you can find directions for adjusting file permissions in Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html. If you continue to experience difficulties I would recommend trying the installation in a newly created administrator account. It is possible your current user accounts permissions may have been compromised.

I followed the instructions on that page, and that didn't fix it. I also set up a new administrator user and tried installing on that account, that didn't work either.

Are you installing the software in your C:/ or to a different drive? , If it is on the different drive then install the application in the c:/
Check after installing from the Hidden Admin account , to know how to unable/disable the hidden admin account follow the link :
If incase this doesn't work then create the folder as C:/adobe and then install the applications here...
