"No Subscription Found" even though I subscribed. [Edited for brevity]

Community Beginner ,

I receive the following message "No Subscription Found. We couldn't find a Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 subscription" after I updated my software even though I have a subscription to the Photoshop Photography Program. I could only get it to run as a trial. Lightroom CC 2015 does not give me the same warning and it runs fine. How can I get Photoshop to recognize my CC subscription?

Unfortunately that didn't work. I followed the instructions by logging out of the Creative Cloud app. Then I launched Photoshop and went to "Sign in" and it still says I am running a trial version. Lightroom is still fine.

2) Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\ProgramData\Adobe

2) Rename the 'SLStore' folder to 'SLStore_old'

3)Browse to the location: [System Drive]:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

4) Rename the 'SLCache' folder to 'SLCache_old'

5)sign in tot he Adobe CC desktop app and launch the Photoshop application.

Sheena

Before renaming SLCache and SLStore folder , please make sure that you have serial number with you , if you had installed any standalone products.

The licenses will be reset for all apps , you will be asked to Sign in again / enter serial number again .

Also , let us know if you had installed any apps as trial .

Windows :

1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named hosts inside etc folder.

2)Copy the hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad.

Let me know whether you can see any Adobe related entries inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc??

Mac :

1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.

/etc

3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it

4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit,

There was nothing in the hosts file with adobe in it.

I renamed the SLStore directories and now photoshop wants to be reinstalled. I don't have time to reinstall right now, but I'll do that later and come back to this thread with the result. Thanks for all your help!

Please confirm , whether the CC apps are asking to Sign in repeatedly or is it asking for serial number after signing in ?

It was never asking for a serial.

Fyi. I tried logging in on a different computer and it worked, so I went back to my old machine and I just uninstalled everything and reinstalled since I'm only dealing with Photoshop and Lightroom. For whatever reason, it worked this time. I'll just score this as one of those things that fixes itself when you completely remove everything and reinstall. Thanks for your help.

I seem to be having the same issue as the people above me. It keeps recognizing my Premiere Pro as a trial version and it won't recognize my subscription when I login. I followed the steps above for Mac and it still won't work. I think I should also point out that I had a trial version before and it expired and now no matter what I do ( i uninstalled the app several times and installed it right back ect ) it keeps recognizing it as being expired even if i log into my account.
