Creative Cloud 2019 - Not respecting color settings

I'm having the same issue with InDesign. Illustrator and photoshop work fine and when I bring in the file into InDesign the whole color is off and dull. Can't find the answer anywhere. 

For me in 2020, Windows 10, nothing helped. Not deleting that ACEConfigCache2.lst file, not uninstalling bridge, nor creating and loading a color setting in indesign, and not in any permutation of doing all this in different orders.

THIS DID HELP: copy the desired color settings .csf file that you created in Indesign and also put it into this folder:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Color\Settings\Recommended"

All solution proposals doesn't work for me on High Sierra.

Uninstall bridge, uninstall ACEConfigCache2.lst, install bridge, synchronize.

Indesign and Illustrator will not synchronize color settings.

Working with PS cc 2019, CS6 AI and Indesign, have not updated Mac to Mohave concerned may render my CS6 programs useless. Since the cc PS update my color files from Ai when moved to PS are washed out.

My question, if I follow the best practice outlined here by a few responders, will this work across CS6 and cc?

Experienced this issue as well with 2019 apps, illustrator, indesign and photoshop were all broken in color profiles and bridge kept on resetting my settings. following this guide by uninstalling bridge with reinstall, and deleting the preference file solved it - for now

That file (ACEConfigCache2.lst) appears to be the culprit - having a look at the file reveals that instead of pointing to the selected colour profile (this is what the file normally does), it was highly truncated.

This goes on to explain two behaviours: why colour settings kept defaulting to none and why the ACE process would continually run.

Adobe says the color settings issue has now been fixed in the new 9.0.1.216 update.

These are the steps that have been working for me and my creative team:

1. If you use an Adobe supplied Color Settings preset, go to next step, otherwise use Photoshop Color Settings, to create your desired color settings, and then Save a named Preset.

2. Quit all Adobe apps

3. Hold down the Option key, and choose the Go Menu.

4. Chose Library.

5. Go to Preferences/Adobe/Color

6. Delete this file: ACEConfigCache2.lst

7.  Go into Bridge 2018 (or 2019 if you have already deleted Bridge 2018), and go to Edit, Color Settings, and chose your desired preset, and click Apply.  If done in Bridge 2018, you don't need to do it in Bridge 2019.

8.  Quit Bridge, and now all your 2018 and 2019 apps will be "Synchronized" and will not revert back to the factory defaults!

I tried searching for the ACEConfigCache2.lst file to delete and can't find it on my computer. Does anyone know where else it could be living? Thanks!

Delete from mac os:

all old versions

all adobe applications

close all adobe process

all adobe folders and adobe files in library

all plugins

clean trash and temp

restart mac os

install again all app

!!! first open adobe bridge / edit / color settings / select / save

open other adobe app

It works for me
