I am an Adobe Admin. Why are our Acrobat users being asked for their dates of birth? From what I have read, Adobe collects this data for Creative Cloud accounts to ensure that users are over the age of 18. That makes sense. However, users in our organization who only have Acrobat licenses are being asked for their DOBs. Why? Especially after we found this post from Adobe:
"Hi @default806nyhq7tqka , thanks for your message. As pointed out Date of Birth is required for COPPA, GDPR and age verification by certain Adobe Services, using a _personal_ account (Adobe ID & Business ID profile). Enterprise-ready accounts (Enterprise ID & Federated ID) are _company_ accounts that do not require DOB. Please have a look into the Adobe Identity Services Whitepaper. Page 7 outlines collected identity data. https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/cc/en/security/pdfs/AdobeIdentityServices.pdf..."
Could you please clarify?
Thank you.
Hi there,
We reviewed the email that you used to post here and found out that you have a Teams subscription.
Teams account only support Business IDs and Adobe IDs, Users in your team are assigned the product using Business IDs, and Therefore are being prompted for this information.
Enterprise IDs and Federated IDs are only available for Enterprise accounts.
You can check your users' account type using the Admin Console > Users.
Hope this helps.

Your answer makes absolutely no sense to a lay person.
