I can an error "activation limit reached". I am not able to remove the license from a computer that i previusly used because it has been reformatted. How can I get my license to work on this reformatted computer?

If you are using a Creative Suite version (CS to CS6), Adobe does not reset activations and you need to have one available.
If you are using a Creative Cloud version (since 2013), Adobe made this easier and you can sign in with your Adobe ID.
