Can't download XD on a new Mac, error 117, Firewall off!

This issue really killed me~! It blocked whole team work!!!!!

I can't update the XD software from Creative Cloud. > Uninstall the XD, and can never install it back again!!! Keep receiving error message: 117.

All the other apps' downloading work~!

I checked all the help doc I can find like: Error 117 occurred during download

No help~!

I reinstall whole creative cloud, still only XD meet the installing issue: installing from creative cloud stopped at 44% and failed again and again.

Internet safe.

I even reinstall the whole mac system to make sure all error files be cleaned, and install CC to have XD. Still meet the same problem!

Call your local support, never have people to answer.

Tried to download the software directly, only XD no offline version.

Please tell me HOW CAN I FIX THIS?!

Whole team work stopped and pending for the design documents and this software doesn't work now!

Thanks,

Nicole

One possible work around for now would be to take the free download, which works outside of the CC menu:

Download free Adobe XD | UX/UI design and collaboration tool

We'd request you to please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article: How to resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications and let us know if that helps.

Hi Colin,

Thank you so much for your answer. My issue has been fixed by the solution as you suggested.

What I did:

1. Use 'AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool' to uninstall the CC product

2. Sign-off from Adobe site

3. Download free XD and instal without CC menu

4. Login Adobe account download CC, switch to 'App' tab, my XD shows: Open

Thank you again for your help. Have a good day.

Best Regards,

Nicole

I am moving this discussion to the Enterprise & Teams since Nicole has a Creative Cloud for Team membership.

Nicole, I would recommend working with your local Creative Cloud admin to install Adobe XD, the current error indicates that the network is not configured to allow an individual to update or install new Adobe software on the work computer.
