Continuous Track vs Classic in the enterprise?

New Here ,

Hi,

I was looking here:

Adobe Security Bulletin

Document Cloud Product Tracks — Enterprise Administration Guide

And I was wondering what path we should choose. We would like to lock down patches ie: we don't want it to update automatically, as we'd like to do some testing really. The fact that only the latest update is available doens't matter too much, if it means that we can schedule it as and when we please, and so that we can check the general firmware.

Also, I'd imagine you can just patch over whatever we've got already, instead of re-installing Adobe reader every time, and recustomising it every time?

Thanks

You can lock down updates on any track. The tracks are quite different in other ways and you should base your deployment decisions on those differences.

The Continuous track has the advantage of getting new features and enhancements on a regular basis.

Your last sentence is correct.

Thank you. I believe we're on the classic track now. To move from classic to continuous , would we need to first uninstall the classic track? Can we also back out of an update for the continious track?
