Creative Cloud File Sync - firewall configuration?

New Here ,
Jun 06, 2017 Jun 06, 2017

Hello Adobe Forums,

I have multiple staff members who are unable to sync files across our network to Adobe's cloud.

I believe this boils down to an issue where the required ports are being blocked by our firewall, I have seen other similar issues but no fix seems to have been found.

On our site we are rolling out a newer firewall to replace the old one but this project could be a couple of years until its complete, I have tested under the new firewall connection this behaves properly.

In order to allow staff on the old setup to be able to sync it appears we need to open specific ports to allow the files to sync, could anyone confirm if they have tried this step and if it fixed the issue, if so could you lastly confirm the ports or port ranges that need to be opened up.

If it helps we use the JANET network on site which is an educational network

Hello Rohit,

This looks like its covered the missing area on our side I will forward this over to the networks team to make sure the firewall has the correct setup.

Kind regards,

Jamie
