Error when installing Creative Cloud - Return code 6

Hello,

I've been trying to install the enterprise version of Creative cloud on a windows 10 system for the last couple weeks and i've consistently been getting a return code 6 on the log file. I am not sure how to proceed with this problem.

I have tried redownloading the installer files using the Creative Cloud Packager. The settings I have been using is as follows:

Creative Cloud for Enterprise > Login with credentials from licensing.adobe.com > Create Package > Licence Type (Serial Number) & 64 Bit

I've ensured that the system is up to date. I've tried to installed while connected to our firewalled network connection as well as an unblocked internet connection. I am having the same issue.

Can someone lease advise me on how to move forward with this?

Unfortunately none of the steps have helped me.

  • I have repaired all the c++ redistributables as the log file did not say which one was the issue
  • I tried to do the install in safemode.
  • I uninstalled all adobe products and renamed the adobe folders under common files and program files
  • I dont have adobe air installed
  • The installation log says the following things at the fatal error:

07/10/18 12:15:28:468 | [FATAL] |  | ASU | DeploymentManager | DeploymentManager |  |  | 12444 | The return code from the Adobe Installer Process is (6).Stopping the installation process.

07/10/18 12:15:28:468 | [ERROR] |  | ASU | DeploymentManager | DeploymentManager |  |  | 12444 | Media Failed (FWKS12.0.0)

I am not sure what to do next.
