Hello,
I am leaving my company. I am currently the administrator. I would like to reassign the administrator role to two other users.
I keep receiving this error message when I attempt to log in to the Adobe Admin Console.
I have been one of only two admins for nearly 10 years. The other one is recently deceased and I deleted the profile in Adobe Learning Manager.
Please advise.
Kind regards,

Hi @JFarmer1728,
The error message appears primarily due to a browser cache issue. Please clear the cache or use incognito mode to check if it works.
To learn how to assign Admin roles, please see the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3JFdrVs.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks,
^BS

Hi @Bani Verma,
I tried both clearing the cache and using incognito mode and neither works. I get the same error message telling me basically to contact myself (the system administrator).

Hi @JFarmer1728,
Thanks for reaching out. I’ve checked and can confirm that there is an active Teams contract associated with the Adobe ID you used to post this query. However, this ID is not listed as an admin on the contract, which is why you’re unable to access it.
Could you please confirm if you’re signing in with the same Adobe ID that you used to post this query?
Awaiting your response.
Regards,
^AN

Hi @Anshul_Nautiyal ,
I have only one Adobe ID as far as I know and that is the one I am logged in with. I've signed in with the same work email for 9 years, so I used that login to log into this community.
This is what my profile shows on Adobe Learning Manager:

Hi @JFarmer1728,
Thanks for clarifying. Please note that Adobe Learning Manager (ALM) is separate from the Adobe Admin Console.
The Adobe Admin Console is used to centrally manage Adobe product entitlements across your organization.
Adobe Learning Manager (ALM) is a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) for delivering and tracking employee training.
Access or roles in ALM do not transfer to or from the Adobe Admin Console. For more details on managing users in ALM, please refer to this document:
https://adobe.ly/3UFuwRD
Since this issue is specific to ALM, I recommend posting your query in the dedicated community forum here:
https://adobe.ly/4oEZPtr
Experts there will be able to guide you further. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.
Regards,
^AN

Hi @JFarmer1728,
You don’t have admin rights associated with this Adobe ID for this contract. Could you please confirm whether you previously had access to the Admin Console? If not, can you clarify which console you are trying to access?

^AN

I'm fairly sure I had access at some point, but haven't attempted to access it for years. I am trying to access Admin Console as instructed in the help link.
Are admin rights in Adobe Learning Manager different from global Adobe admin rights? I am very confused as to why my Adobe ID is the only one with admin rights in ALM but I'm being told otherwise here.

Hi Anshul,
Do we have any more clarity on this? How do I find out who has the admin rights in my organization? I am the only employee who has ever interacted directly with Adobe, so some direction would be helpful. My last day is Friday.

Hi @JFarmer1728,
Thanks for reaching out. You can refer to the following document to learn how to contact your admin:
https://adobe.ly/41R30o7
If the admin details are not appearing, you can also reach out to your internal IT support or help desk.
Since you mentioned that you are the only employee who has interacted directly with Adobe, could you clarify whom you contacted previously — was it an account manager?
Regarding your Adobe Learning Manager (ALM) query, have you tried posting it in the following community forum where product experts can assist you?

Hi @Anshul_Nautiyal ,
There doesn't seem to be any indication that we have an Adobe Learning Manager plan at all in either my business or personal account. Yet I received an annual subscription renewal email for 30 learners on 8/19/25. My email address is listed as the billing recipient.
It looks like my last contact was with Captivate Prime Support representative Mary Frederic on July 30th, 2021.
Regards,
JF
