How to enable Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop to update app auto-update via registry etc

Community Beginner ,

Hi Guys,

Would anyone one know how to enable Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop to update apps via the auto-update feature in it's preference settings - via registry etc.

Trying to deploy a package to the wider network and having issues identfying what reg key, system file controls this option.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi, i have been looking for the answer to this and no one seems to have it.

Have found it though!

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE\com.adobe.accc.apps.5E57611A5DA5D2670A495FB1.prefs

You set the settings you want for auto update then find this file and copy it.

If you paste over the old one in any other computer it will get thease settings. As it is only user based you would have to have a login script to install this or something to use it.

Good luck

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the CC forum.

Unfortunately this doesn't help - this refers to creating an update server for Adobe products..

I'm just trying to enable a feature within the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Client so that users can install updates for installed software (via the Adobe Cloud) so that all software is up-to-date and doesn't rely on IT to update it.
