My older version of Photoshop 2014 can't be activated recently. Pasting serial no. doesn't help.

My older version of Photoshop 2014 can't be activated recently. It doesn't sign in despite the Creative Cloud is on, and I'm logged in. It takes me to the screen where I can paste the serial no. but pasting actual serial no. doesn't help...

I keep the old version of PS, for actions which doesn't work with the new editions, I also don't want to have the new releases slowed with tons of brushes and patterns, so I keep them at the old one.
That's enough that clean Photoshop opens with a 5GB file on a scratch disk by default! That's totally weird.

in addition to answering do you have a team or enterprise subscription?

 

are you sure it's photoshop prompting you, and NOT photoshop elements?

The screenshot says: "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014".

 

I do not know well, when Adobe stopped also for big government customers, with special internet access restrictions to use serialized activation, but today that option is no more available as of my knowledge.

 

OP should confirm that he tried this.

Another thing is which serial number are you pasting and how did you get it. Do you have any CS version of PS installed on the same machine?

ps 2014 is subscription, not serial number activated.

Yes, exactly, but how to explain that screen (after hitting blue "sign in" button)?
Tried all solutions from the list, with no avail...
Maybe something is wrong with my account (but I can't find a chat to check this out with support). All is paid and up to date.
