I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to Enterprise & Teams.
What did your IT say when you showed them?

Hi @putty75,
Thank you for reaching out.
Upon checking, I can confirm that you have an active Teams subscription associated with the Adobe ID used to post your query. To assist you further, could you please let me know the exact error message you are encountering when attempting to install Lightroom? Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share the complete PDApp log to allow us to investigate more effectively.
In the meantime, please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
For detailed steps on creating flat packages, please refer to the following guide: Create Flat Packages.
Please let me know if the issue persists after trying these steps, and feel free to share any additional details or logs for further assistance.
Regards,
^AN

nothing to do unfortunately.
I tried the flat but in the end it says "impossible to install the package".
I am an administrator and the PDApp log file does not exist

Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear that the flat package's solution didn't work. You mentioned that the PDApp.log file is unavailable. You shared the error code and message above in your original post. Are you seeing this on the screen when the installation fails, or is it from a log file?
Please try locating the log file once again, as it can help us underline the root cause of this issue; you can find the PDApp.log file in the following location on macOS:
Local Deployment: ~/Library/Logs/CreativeCloud/ACC/
Remote Deployment: /private/var/root/Library/Logs/CreativeCloud/ACC/
Thanks,
^BS
