Remote Update Manager Return Code (1) after running it

I have an Adobe Update Server set up in my LAN, and I deployed the "AdobeUpdater.Overrides" file to my client machines. On my test computer, I can see from the log that RemoteUpdateManager can connect to my AUS, and download the updates, but then, it fails to install them. I'm not sure what's wrong, and I'd appreciate the assistance. Please see attached log of last two attempts:

We have made some updates to RUM and the install path for Mac has changed.

I replaced the RemoteUpdateManager binary with the new version, and placed it in the new path. I ran the command again via ARD as root, and I got the same result. The first attampt was just after placing the file, and removing the old one. The second attempt is after a reboot. Please see the log below:

Make sure all the applications are closed. Updates will not install if the application is running.

RUM appears to be functioning correctly, the error seems to be at the point of installation.

Can you run Adobe Update Manager on the local machine?

It seems the problem is specific to that particular computer. Perhaps something went wrong with the original Creative Cloud apps installation. I have now tried the command on 7 other computers, and it successfully downloaded and installed updates from my in-house Adobe Update Server.
