Hi, about a month ago I lost access to my student adobe creative cloud account as well as access to all my files on Lightroom without warning. I go to university (and have recently graudated) at a school that offered access to all creative cloud apps. I want to be able to download all of my Lightroom files because I didn't get a chance to before I lost my access without warning. I was looking at the migrating student assets page and was trying to do that, but I kept getting an error. Whenever I try to log into my student account/email, it always gives me an error saying access denied. I just want to be able to download all of my files. I have contacted adobe support with no luck and I have been trying to work with my school's IT department, but they are also not helping. When I contacted adobe support they said that my school email did not have an account? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
you need to have access to the school email address and the school's plan to retrieve files from the school plan that used your student email address. if your school says no, then you're out of luck.

anticipate this if you will be in the same situation. ie, most students know they are going to lose student email access when they graduate and probably a school supplied plan. while adobe offers a grace period of one year for the student rate, actually retaining a school email and a school-paid account is up to the school and adobe has no influence on that.
generally, you should download all your files before graduating and losing the school supplied plan. then if you still want a subscription (at the student rate), no problem. just start another subscription with another email address (that your school does not control) and another adobe id. then migrate your files per https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/transfer-assets.html

I see.
In my case, I knew I was graduating, but I was graduating early so I had no idea what date would count as my "graduation". My IT department has not been helpful and I really wish there was a warning email saying hey your account is going to be deleted in x amount of days. If I had known that my account and files would simply just vanish, I would've downloaded them much sooner.

you only need one (or a few days). appeal to your school for understanding. maybe even offer to reimburse your school for a few days or one month subscription that they pay adobe.
