Despite the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop (6.4) app being listed as compatible with macOS Sequoia, when attempting to install the macOS (Universal) package, as created via the Admin Console, the following error is provided. [1] I've tested this on two separate macOS devices that meet the minimum system requirements (e.g., MacBook Air M3 and MacBook M1 Pro).

Hi @default8xz7epdimy5m,

You can use the prebuilt Flat packages available under the Templates Tab. These packages are already signed and notarized, ensuring compatibility with Gatekeeper policies. This approach would help avoid the inconvenience of manually creating exceptions for Gatekeeper or altering user override settings.

Hope this helps.

Hi @default8xz7epdimy5m,

Thank you for reaching out.

To resolve the issue, we recommend creating the software package as a flat package rather than the traditional bundle style. Flat packages are designed to offer enhanced compatibility with modern systems and provide a more streamlined deployment and update process.

For detailed guidance on how to create a flat package, please refer to the following document: Create Flat Packages.

Please let us know if this resolves your issue or if you require any further assistance.

Regards,

^AN

Hi, Anshul_Nautiyal, unfortunately, this isn't an ideal option in our environment, due to the package not being signed, as our Gatekeeper policy prevents both A) the installation of apps not downloaded from the App Store or identified developers, and B) user override of Gatekeeper. [1] Hypothetically, I could create a separate Gatekeeper policy, that permits user override, and temporarily assign that to devices that need this app installed, but I'm hoping to avoid this inconvenience, for all parties, if possible.

Thanks, Anshul_Nautiyal, I wasn't aware of the templates, and have confirmed that this resolved my issue.
