Question

SCCM 3rd Party Catalog SCUP Metadata only

Hello,

We have been using SCCM to update our Adobe products via SCUP for years.  For the past two months however we are only seeing the metadata only entries listed.

We have checked the community and found many people have solved this problem by unblocking the certificates.  We have already done this with no success fixing our issue.

We see the certificates with cabs and msp are valid when they are downloaded.

We have removed the catalogs and readded them and with the same result.

When we look at the SMS_ISVUPDATES_SYNCAGENT.log we see the system syncing and listing updates but we also see

SyncUpdateCatalog: **** Warning: Catalog is old format, no content certificates are included and updates will not be deployable until certificates are trusted. ****

We have reblocked and unblocked the certifcates in the Administration > Certificates to attempt to fix with no success.

We have run out of ideas of how to fix this issue.

We have gotten back from Microsoft regarding this issue.

After they reviewed that catalogs that are currently avaiable.

Can we please get Adobe to review the catalogs currently being offered to determine how to bring them up to date for SCCM?

We are seeing this warning because the reader is a V1 catalog

So SCCM extract the catalog and check if there are multiple folders in there, Which Reader does not - So it shows that warning,

If there is only a single file then it is the V1 catalog and V2 catalogs have either 1 or 2 sub-directories with additional metadata.

Suggestion: Contact the catalog provider to update the catalog.

The links have been updated to use HTTPS on https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/DesktopDeployment/sccm.html#available-catalogs

For the remaining issues, I am passing details to our engineering team to address them.

Hello,

we do not normally keep support cases open when an issue has been passed to engineering. The issue remains open with our Acrobat engineering team, who will let me know once the issue is resolved, so I can pass on details to you.

I have asked for an update internally, and will let you know as soon as I have more information.
Our bug reference for this issue is ADC-4300823.

Dominic

Hi,

Same issue with wanting v3 schema update catalogs for automated patching in SCCM, is there any update on ADC-4300823 please?

Thanks.
