Is there a way of converting autonumbering to manual numbering in FM 2017?

    To paraphrase Arnis, no, there is no way to convert the autonumber properties to static text within a FrameMaker document.

    Also to paraphrase Arnis, what is the problem you're trying to solve by eliminating the automatic numbering?

    To what purpose?

    Just turn off the auto-numbering in the required paragraph tag usiing the Paragraph Designer and then manually number the paragraphs. But what is this going to accomplish?
