Framemaker to word/rtf with equations

The equations are converted to picture mode when i convert the framemaker to rtf. Is it possible to export/extract the equations from framemaker?

In my experience, Fm equations export as vector to PDF.

What's the goal here...to edit the content using Word?

Yes you are correct. The content and math equations need to be edited in word.

Sounds interesting, but unless the equations are built using an XML equation tool (like MathFlow) I don't know if you'll be able to pull that off.

Even if you're using MathFlow, I don't know if Word will recognize the XML as equivalent to an equation built in Word.

You mean, have an equation built using the Equation Editor show up in Word as it were an equation built in Word?

Output PDF and see if you can extract from there? Are the equations not imported by reference into the FM content?
