FrameMaker2019 can't handle apostrophes
Today I received a mif file from a customer. She got it back from translation to french. This mif file contains aphostrophs (French people seem to love it because they use it so often.) 😉
When opening this 2019 mif file with FM2019(15.0.7.973), the part of the sentence after an apostroph was cut off. Opening with FM2020 or FM 2017 everything is fine.
Investigations have shown that in the mif file the correponding part is something like this:
<String `L\qéquipement de mesure sert à mesurer........
\q is an apostrophe (hex x27 / decimal 039)
after every \q text vanishes.
Has anybody seen this behaviour or has anybody a workaraound for this problem?
