Generate list of markers using section instead of page numbers?

I'd like to generate a list of markers using section numbers instead of page numbers. I've set up my headings with automatic paragraph numbering, and I've marked the citations in both the text and footnotes. The problem is, when I generate the list, it provides the section number for citations in the text, but there's no section number reference for the citations in footnotes. Is there a way to generate a list that will display section numbers for the citations in both the text AND the footnotes?

What do your entries on the LOM reference page look like, i.e. how are you referencing the section numbers?

Here's what the LOM reference on the reference page looks like: <$markertext> <$paranum>

It shows only the section numbers for text citations, not those in footnotes.

I'm using Frame 7.0p578 because that's what my client uses.

My footnote tag doesn't currently have any autonumber -- I set the footnote properties through Format>Document>Numbering (i.e., use numeric style and start at 1).

With the version of Frame I have, can I set up a custom paragraph tag with an autonumber that includes the section number? Won't that then number the footnotes themselves with the section number, rather than as 1, 2, 3, etc.?

FM's Footnote operations are column based and FM handles the "autonumbering" internally. If you aren't using the $volnum variable in your book builds, you could conceivably use this on a file basis (if you can match your section numbering to the volume numbering). You would then have to add the <$volnum> building block to the LOM entry on the LOM Reference page. If your section numbers vary within a file, then you're probably out of luck without a custom plug-in or FrameScript.
