Is there any way to create nice shadow for textframes?

Two ways to approach this. You can use Frame's drawing tools to creat a pseudo-shadow with thick lines (and lighter fills) along two sides of a text frame but this is a very crude effect.

For a more cosmetic effect, create the drop-shadow box the same size as you need for your text frame in Photshop or Illustrator, save as EPS or TIFF and import th graphic into FM dropping it behind and offset from the text frame to create the desired effect.

    Thanks Arnis.

I am using the second method.

Adjustment of the size and position of the graphic really is time-consuming specially for unintegrated photoshop

My project has hundreds of boxes to be shadowed in side-head.

You might want to stick to a few pre-defined sizes of text boxes and adjust your content to fit. Keep a complete set of empty text-frames with the the drop-shadows on your Reference pages, then you can copy & paste as required. It might make things a bit easier for you.
