Hello,

I have created a book with Frame Maker, and when I export it to PDF I see that the PDF has no page number on the pages. Why ? How to set the Frame Maker book in order to export also the page number in the PDF ?

Hi @pierret18811376:

Replace your typewritten text with Insert > Headers and Footers > Insert Page # on the master pages. This will produce a 1 on page 1, a 2 on page 2, a 3 on page 3, etc. and this will also carry over to your PDF output.

I have opened a document and opened the paster page of this document and at the top I put <$curpagenum> :

But if I exit from Master page, I see only <$curpagenum> at the top, but not the page number :

What I have done in my FM book is :

I have done numbering and pagination on each document  (for each document of the FM book list).

In the Master page of your documents, you need to have a "Current Page #" (or whatever you want pages to show) of something like <$curpagenum> present.

Did you add page numbering to the FM source documents? It won't show up in a PDF unless you've told it to appear in the FM docs.
