How to get the Chapter Title instead of File Name in Responsive HTML 5 generated using FM 2019?

Hi,

We are trying to publish our existing set of FM documentation into the Responsive HTML 5 format using FM 2019 but instead of the chapter title, we are getting the FM file name in the help TOC. Is there a way to get the chapter title listed in the help output without changing the file names?

Thanks in advance,

Rehan

I have Frame 2017, but I think this works the same way.

In the publish window, choose "Edit Settings."

In the Style Mapping tab choose "General Settings"

In the Topic Name Pattern drop down list choose <$paratext>  probably use the other settings as shown here in the screen cap

Hi Rehan,

Thanks for contacting Adobe Support.

I just wanted to post a solution here that by creating a TOC based on the heading style solved the purpose.

Regards,

Ajit

Thank you! It works for heading1 if I split the chapter into topics based on the heading1 style but it is still not picking up the chapter title. Are there any additional settings required?

My chapter title is the heading 1, so it works for me in this way. You need to play about with the settings in this dialog box. Or define something in the CSS file.

Yes. The TOC must be set up correctly in Frame for the help to work correctly.

Adobe, please note that the instructions for HTML 5 help need to be clearer in the help files.
