How to give a link to Chapter title in TOC?

While generating the TOC, I am unable to create link to 1.0 Introduction alone. Rest of them are working fine. Please suggest how do I insert the reference link to 1.0 Introduction?

Many thanks.

It looks like there is no Hypertext marker in the 1.0 Introduction paragraph. Is that paragraph being added automatically when you generate the TOC? Thanks.

    Hi @derick_6330 :

As per @frameexpert, there isn't a hyperlink marker (half an upside down T) in front of 1.0. This could be as simple as updating your book.

At this point we are talking amongst ourselves so please swing back to let us know if you still need help or if you have resolved it and moved on.

Sorry for the delayed response. I had recreated the TOC and the issue got fixed. Thank you @frameexpert .

What is the paragraph tag of the 1.0 Introduction entry in the TOC? Does it have the same suffix (TOC) as the entries that have links?

What version of FM? Structured or Unstructured? Always good to start off a post with that sort of info.
Are you just having a problem with the link from "1.0 Introduction" OR is it not working for "2.0 Signal Description" also?

I am using a FM 2019, unstructured. I am facing the issue only for the  "1.0 Introduction". Please suggest. Thanks.

    Hi,

I have the feeling that 1.0 Introduction is not in the paragraph format list of your TOC. Is this the same paragraph format as 2.0 Signal Description?

I would delete everything in this file besides any heading like "Table of Contents".

Then update your book. This should recreate all your TOC headings. If you had set your table of contents to create hypertext links, then all headings should have a hyperlink. FrameMaker does not add hyperlinks to only some paragraph formats.

    Best regards, Winfried
