How to move an anchored frame (FM 10)

Hi,

I have no idea how to move/reposition an anchored frame. The anchored frame is just 0.406" x 0.375" and it is in a table's cell.
Any help much appreciated.

You cannot move an anchored frame. You can only position it according to the allowed settings in the Anchored Frame properties box.

HOWEVER, you can position the image that is inside the anchored frame. So, if you want something that you cannot accomplish with the anchored frame's properties, then make the anchored frame large enough and position the image to where you want it.

Hi Van,

Thanks for the response. I was afraid that was the case.

The options in the Anchored Frame settings box seem rather sparse, but I'll go the route of enlarging the frame.

Thanks again.

Note: if the anchoring position is either outside column or outside text  frame, then an anchored frame can be dynamically positioned, i.e. you can select it and then move it using the mouse.
