Problem trying to save FM 8.0 file as PDF

I have used Robohelp version 7.1 for several years. Yesterday, I installed the Technical Communication Suite. I opened and converted all 7.1 files in a 7.1 book to 8.0 Framemaker. Now, I'm trying to save one file as PDF and am getting the following error:

"Framemaker could not find Adobe PDF printer instance, which must be installed to execute Save as PDF Command."

Previously, when I printed anything, there was an ADOBE PDF option. That option no longer exists.

I looked through the KB and found advice like "Be sure to keep the Adobe PDF creation add-on printer instance" but that doesn't tell me what to do.

Since updating to FrameMaker 8, unable to generate accurate PDF files; blocks of text are missing from PDF file. After "repairing" FrameMaker 8, PDF files generate accurately once or twice, then start omitting text once more. Any idea what is causing this?

Nicole,

There's a Microsoft Hotfix for this issue. See this thread for
details:

Bob,

Did you install all of the suite or just the FM and RoboHelp
components? If you installed the Acrobat3D component, then you should
have an AdobePDF printer instance created. Try re-installing the
Acrobat3D component.
