Question

Unload color pallet?

I have about 1800 files that I need to remove the color pallet from. We only use the std colors and at some point several color pallets were loaded. It is very time consuming to remove one color at a time when a complete pallet was installed. Is there anyway to make this process easier?

We currently have FM 8, but most of the files were done witn MF 7.

Thanks

A very useful *** and FREE ***  utility to view MIF files is MIFbrowser, by Graham Wideman, at

Sounds like a perfect job for Framescript. http://www.framescript.com

    There's a Framescript user group here:     http://groups.yahoo.com/group/framescript-users/

There are several members on the Framescript group who offer programming services and who may even have such a script already created and available for sale.

As Shelia says, it's a perfect applicaiton for FrameScript, but if I'm remembering correctly, one of the free scripts that is (was, anyway) packaged with the product is a script that cleans out the color definitions. Not sure if it's still in the current release, YMMV, etc.

Also, the CleanImport plug in purges the color definitions and replaces them with whatever is specified in the source file from which new definitions are imported.

I'm looking for the files you talk about, but have not been able to locate. Not sure if IT installed any of the options, I'm assuming that this would be where any plugins or scripts and files would be.

    Thanks
