Question

Why do my Paragraph designer advanced formats not display?

I can display the "general" formatting options, but not pagination, or advanced, etc.

Only the "basic" options - FrameMaker 9. I can change them. All Paragraph formats imported

from template are displaying.

This is on a doc I imported from Word, however I applied my template and selected Paragraph formats, etc.

Thanks!!

    Hi

I've also found this to be an issue in V9.0 p 196.  I have V9.0 p237 installed onto my machine and it does appear to be working correctly.  On a machine with p196 I found that the only way to get the views to change was to close and reopen FrameMaker.  Once this was done then the Paragraph Designer performs correctly.

Can someone please confirm that this has been resolved in p237?

Any help is always greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

In case you haven't seen the below thread, you might want to read through it.

Don't know if it is exactly what you are experiencing or not. My issue has not

been resolved as of yet. Now I really only have the problem when making para tags.

Anyway, thought you might want to give some of the answers in the thread a shot.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but I don't see anything in that thread that describes my problem. I don't have anything in Frame freezing, I just have this CharacterMap.exe process that Frame started that is stealing all of my resources.

Are you running the latest 9.0.2 (FM9.0p237) version?

    July 31, 2009

Yup. But I rebooted my machine, all good now. Weird. Just a Frameism I guess.

    Thank you!
