Adobe Draw Brush Settings?

New Here ,
May 06, 2021 May 06, 2021

Hi all, I'm looking to migrate from Draw to Fresco and I would like to recreate Draw's Basic Round brush exactly. I absolutely adore using Draw for my digital sketches (vector).  It has the perfect amount of smoothing, etc. by default. Whenever I look to recreate the same feel in Fresco, the smoothing delay is horrible.

I'm using an iPad Pro (12" 1st Generation).

Any advice regarding the delay?

Also, does anybody know the exact settings to recreate Draw's Basic Round brush?

You can check the settings in the Brushes in Draw by tapping on the little icon at the bottom once you've selected your brush.
Roundness 100%, Angle 90 degrees, Taper 0%, Pressure Dynamics are on, Size 100%, Velocity dynamics are on, Size 0%
Draw does not appear to have a Smoothing setting, so this one is difficult to work out.

In Fresco it has been suggested to reduce the Smoothing to 0 to remove/prevent delay.

The Basic Round brush under Vector brushes in Fresco has the same settings and looks/works the same in both apps for me.

This is crazy to me as I now see them as the same but when I first started using Fresco (for lineart) yesterday, I would swear they had different brush settings lol

Thanks Sjaani 🙂 I expect it was just my mind's eye playing a trick on me due to simply being a different program.
