Downloaded Brushes won't load without internet connection.

My fresco premium brushes won't load without a decent Internet connection. Is there a way to use them offline? Also, almost everytime I open fresco, I find that all the premium brushes are gone. Even the brush library won't load. Only uninstalling and reinstalling fixes the problem. But it still requires decent internet connections to load those brushes. I downloaded all those brushes directly on fresco. Why can't I use them offline? Any suggestion? Thanks.
[My device is ipad pro 6th gen]

They shouldn't reload every time so you need to make sure your syncing settings are OK. Maybe they weren't entirely loaded last time

Of course you can work offline, but saving has to be done while there is an internet connection going.

check that
https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/fresco/using/cloud-documents.html

also you can check if your cloud syncing has an issue by going here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/arent-my-files-syncing.html
Using your CC app

You can check this post below and see all the answers the Adobe employee gave to people asking questions:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/fresco-discussions/import-brushes-to-fresco-and-manage-them-easily/m-...

You have a little cloud at the top right of the Fresco window. It needs to show as completely grey. If it's constantly spinning, that means it's syncing. The faster the connection, the faster the syncing is done. So, if you have a very unstable connection, then it can mean that it will take a long time to sync everything, including brushes you previously imported and that didn't have time to load properly first time.

If it's a concern, I would delete those brushes, and upload litle by little so you can have a smaller set availble. For example it can happen if you get a flimsy connection and try to download Kyle's Megapack. This pack is huge and contains brushes with a large input, making them very long to import.

Can you not use the bruses offline once they are imported?

Ideally, you import and upload brushes with strong internet connection. Then once you're working (online or offline as sometimes we work without a connection) the brushes would be in the library, not online.

Either way my brushes will load, but won't stay imported and disappear and I have a fast connection 😞

I exactly said the opposite 🙂
You can use the brushes offline, once they are loaded. The issue is that loading for example a  Megapack can take many hours if you're on a flimsy internet connection. If it's an issue, try to load smaller packs.

They are fully loaded when their thumbnail appear in the list. If they appear but their thumbnail doesn't show, consider them not entirely loaded. You need to leave the stuff alone until they are.

Also just to pint it out. I use Fresco on both Windows (desktop) and an Ipad. This is my personal experience that brushes on the Ipad takes way longer to load than on my desktop. I never have any lag on my desktop. The brushes are saved locally and I think it is due to the Ipad slower system. (But don't quote me on that one 🙂 Just personal experience)

Tried them all. Unfortunately, none of these worked. I made sure all brushes were synced one by one, using a strong internet connection. Nevertheless, once I close the Fresco app and reopen it, the library disappears.

In that case then it would be a syncing issue, if you have the CC app (you should 🙂 ), try to pause syncing and turn it back on. It's just one of the easy thing you can do and it may not work. Let's hope someone at Adobe will chime in soon!

Hey there,

I am having the exact same issue. I'm on a premium paid subscription to fresco, but 6 days into my free trial.

I've downloaded the megapack from Kyle, and also purchased and downloaded brushes on my ipad and imported them into fresco. They show up for 5 minutes, but if i switch canvases, move to another app, or get out of my artwork for 2 minutes, the brushes disappear. I'm struggling with this as it's a total workflow killer.

I have super fast internet and the brushes completed loading. I have no idea what is causing this. I'm also on a 6th gen iPad pro.

I migrated from procreate and I'm hoping I can find a solution or I may have to go back to procreate.

I submitted the bug to the CC team a few times but no reply 😕

I am a Photoshop user, so I really wanted fresco to work. But fresco on ipad seems to be nothing but frustrating. I completed the Fresco free trial, but I faced the same issue every day during the trial period.. So I had to cancel my subscription and try procreate. I'm new to procreate but moving from fresco to procreate is such a relief. I am glad I didn’t continue my subscription with fresco.

I found a fix to this. If you uninstall the Fresco app, redownload, the brushes seem to stick this way. Or at least they have for me. I really wanted Fresco to work for me and this was my last ditch effort. Thankfully, it worked and so far, so good!
