I agree, and it doesn't make sense given Android has a far larger market share of mobile devices.
I did get told once it is because Android is too easy to 'steal' apps or reverse engineer the code or something.

I've been saying for a while now that Adobe should charge Windows and Android users less because we clearly get less. Adobe clearly has all their focus on Apple and it shows. Now they are removing Sketch and Draw from Android and still no Fresco.
I'd sooner find alternative software, than switch to Apple. Keep pushing Adobe, I'm almost out the door.

It really would be nice if I could get my money's worth from Adobe and they put their pro apps on Android like they do for iPad users. It would nice if they at least confirm if it going to happen or not.

I'm getting really frustrated with Adobe now. They announce the end of Adobe Draw and Adobe Sketch, two of my favorite mobile apps for creative work. And in the same pop-up text they recommend to switch to Fresco, WHICH IS NOT AVAILABLE ON ANDROID!
That's bonkers. Really makes me doubt if I should keep investing in the Adobe CC.
It's just not fair business practice to charge the same price, then cut the offering and limit the recommended alternative offer to only a certain group of users.
At least they could have been so honest as to alter the text for Android users and tell them to f off right away.

I was using Adobe draw app for a long time... I made somany sketches and drawings in Adobe draw app... By withdrawing this app adobe showed very Unprofessional way towards the users... By doing withdrawal you guys are disappointing loyal users... Because you guys released fresco only for apple devices.. What about Android users? You guys are only focusing on ios users only... Why you guys are rationalizing in this matters... If we could afford Apple product why should we go for fresco instead a far more better app is there pro create... In Android there are so many apps but we trust Adobe for the better quality... In returns you guyz did this to us... Really disappointed...

I can't believe Adobe would phase out Draw and Sketch without even launching Fresco on Android. I literally just bought the Samsung Galxy Z Fold 3 with the pen so I could draw on my phone more often. What a bummer.

I've switched to infinite Painter. It's the best app on play store actually. The 7th version will be just 😍. Consider that the team of dev is formed of 3 persons! It's available on Android, iOS, iPadOS , Chromebooks, Macbooks, Window 10 and 11.

I think that it was going to be very difficult to get the app onto all different Android platforms so Adobe opted for Windows and Mac devices. Not sure if there are plans to get it to Android as well still.

Hello,
I've used Adobe and been a subscriber to the cloud for as long as I can remember, and therefore have paid a ton of money for these apps, and it's really damn sad to be able to not have support for Android for at least ONE app??????????????? Really??
I bought a Samsung ultra tab android because I prefer it for MANY reasons over iPad (had an iPad before and really don't want to go back to it). I seriously did NOT think that Adobe wouldn't have these apps available for Android, I really thought more of Adobe. Really. I've tried using the other creative apps that are available for Android and they cannot compare to the Adobe apps for creating digital art. PLEASE I BEG YOU TO AT LEAST MAKE FRESCO SUPPORT ANDROID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's easier said than done. As I said in other threads regarding this, the reason why it went to iPadOS/iOS first is because for the most part all iOS/iPadOS devices have the same functionality, they have the same OS, usually on the same version. Aside from RAM and screen size the experience on a base model iPad is going to be the same as a top of the line iPad Pro. Windows followed shortly afterwards because there is a lot more variety when it comes to Windows devices. Because of which, it took longer in order to create a version for it that was devoid of major bugs. Android on the other hand is all over the place. Depending on who the manufacturer is, your Android experience is all over the place, a good portion of which aren't even running the same interation of Android. Because of that, it makes it even more difficult to create a version of Fresco for Android. The best shot I would see Fresco showing up may be the new Galaxy tablets that just showed up.
No slight to Windows or Android, but the more variation of the versions of a device OS you get, the more difficult it is to create a verdion for that. Its taking longer, because they want to make sure its usable. They could very easily throw a version on Android, but there's a good chnce it could be so buggy that its unusable for most users, giving the app a bad rep.

It's funny you make this excuse for the short sightedness of Adobe. There are a ton of apps similar to fresco from small independent companies with FAR less money to put into development on both platforms. I'm so sick of Adobe dragging it's feet to provide for Android.
All this being said I would like to say I'm a LONG time Adobe Photoshop user but this truly is the straw that breaks the camel's back I'm done with supporting a company so miopic it refuses to pick up its own slack. So Adobe can kiss my money good-bye as well as the other artists in my company (small though we are.)

It's coming up on 2 years since Fresco was released and we have all been promised that the developers have heard that we want an Android app from answers given by your PR teams. So where is it? There is a large amount of people that dont own Apple products and would like to use their Android tablets to draw with Adobe software that they presumably pay for already. Saying that it is available on Windows or Mac is not the answer at this point.

Unfortunately the majority of people on the forum are users and we have no idea of Adobe's release dates. They tend not to give a specific timeframe that way they are not bound by a date.
Other responses to this question have suggested that it is taking longer for an Android version because there are so many variations of the Android OS. You could of course add your request onto the many threads already existing within the Fresco UserVoice pages, but as previously noted Adobe are well aware of the request and have indicated they are working on it.

Sadly Adobe treats us Android users very differently than iOS users even when everyone pays the same.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
