Come on Adobe. It's 2023, how do you not have android compatibility yet?

Why just iOS , why not Android is also getting Fresco ? Or If it is coming ,then when ?

People who respond in the forum are generally users of the apps ourselves. We've got no idea if/when Adobe might be releasing Fresco onto an Android device. They have added Fresco to Windows 10 systems as well though, so it's not just iOS devices which can access Fresco now.

I got on my android tablet to draw in Adobe Sketch; I found a message saying that the program is coming to an end to be replaced by Fresco. I tried to go ahead and switch over to Fresco just to find that it seems not to be able to be used on my tablet? Why would they do this to us and not let us have the replacement program?

Hola, tengo una tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 (SM-T870) con android 11 y ya no podré dibujar debido a que no continuarán las aplicaciones que uso actualemente para dibujar: Draw y Sketch. Ahora funcionará solo Adobe FRESCO pero no está diponible para las tablets Samsung. ¿Se podrá instalar en algun momento Fresco en Android? Gracias

At this point Adobe seem to have gone across to Windows rather than Android. They might still be working on getting it to Android though.

I thought you could continue to use Draw and Sketch if they were already installed.

Hi,

I have received the email about Adobe removing sketch and illustrator from app stores, and nicely inviting us to use fresco instead...

While Fresco does not exist on Android.

Do you plan to add it soon?

Something I don't understand is Removing Sketch on Android so soon like this until Fresco for Android doesn't exist. For Android user, this is really ridiculous. (I know once I have it, I can use it for good, but sometimes it crushes and needs to reinstall, or else)
I want Sketch to be downloaded longler enough until Fresco for Android is released.
Please just leave the Sketch on Android store ..... don't remove 😞

Well, In the end I think they will not develop for fresco.

With illustrator coming out on ios, they surely intend to export all their mostly used apps for this platform first.

since they discontinued adobe draw an ps sketch is more hard to draw please add that apps because are very neccesary for people like me who doesnt have a pc or a ipad

I think I have read somewhere that it will be added.
Adobe doesn't tend to let us know 'when' specifically. That way they won't have people giving them the 'You Said' comments if something isn't delivered when expected.

Hopefully they'll wait until they've got it working really well before releasing it to other OS devices.

New to Adobe CC, but slightly confused if there is any way to get some apps on my tablet...? I'd like to sketch my logo on my Android tablet before finalizing it in Illustrator on my laptop, but I can't seem to find any apps operating on Android? Any help, please?

Have you looked for Illustrator Draw for your device?
I don't think Fresco is available yet but you can check the system requirements to see if you should be able to use Fresco.

This app has been really one of the most popular apps in the iOS market. In my opinion, I think android needs to get a supply of good art apps, . To be honest, with my experience in Adobe Illustrator draw and adobe photoshop sketch have been quite decent, but to me, it just seemed like a beta app than a full-fledged professional application.

Of course, this is the company's choice, but in my eyes, I think adding fresco, photoshop, and illustrator for android would be a good idea.

Fresco is a relatively new app, and Adobe seems to be building it based on what users request. Which could lead to the lack of professional application you mention. For me, I can already see it becoming too much like all the other apps with everyone asking for thing which exist in other apps to be added to Fresco.

I like it as a drawing app, I don't want to see it developed beyond that to include text and many other features I'm sure others want to see.

Seeing that Fresco is now available on Windows, I'll be surprised if we see it go to Android, but I don't know Adobe's plans, so that's just my opinion.

Adobe do not care about Android users.

I don't think its about if they care about Android users or not, it's all about the fragmented user base. It came out for iPad first, because all the iPads all have the same version of iOS. It came out slightly later for Windows, because though Windows is more customizable and slightly more fragmented than iOS, its still pretty similar no matter what device it was. The problem with Android is that there's completely different versions of Android based on what device you're using with completely different UIs and all over the place about which version, it could be 7.0 or 9 or whatever. It makes it very hard for them to develop and make it work. If and when it comes out for Android, its highly likely, its only going to be for a select few models
