Well, In the end I think they will not develop for fresco.
With illustrator coming out on ios, they surely intend to export all their mostly used apps for this platform first.

New to Adobe CC, but slightly confused if there is any way to get some apps on my tablet...? I'd like to sketch my logo on my Android tablet before finalizing it in Illustrator on my laptop, but I can't seem to find any apps operating on Android? Any help, please?

Have you looked for Illustrator Draw for your device?
I don't think Fresco is available yet but you can check the system requirements to see if you should be able to use Fresco.

I've seen suggestions that it is being worked on but there's generally no announcement of when something might be released.

I hope so too for those on Android. The problem is how fragmented the OS is. iPadOS and iOS came first because its pretty consistent with the OS, most are on the most current ones and there's no variation. Windows came next, because there's fragmentation, because there's a lot of machines running older OS and they're all over the place when it comes to processors and RAM. But, it came to specifiic machines with specific components. Android is like the wild west, they're all over the place and depending on who is using the OS for their device, the UI is all over the place too. Its hard to get consistency. It makes it hard to develop for. They want to make sure the app, when it comes out, actually works. I can imagine though, the first Android machines that would probably see it, whenever it does come out is the Galaxy Tab 8.

Salve, chiedo se potete mettere Adobe Fresco anche su Android, siccome Adobe draw tra poco chiuderà

At this point we can only assume it is being worked on.
Adobe have added Fresco to Win 10 devices so far.
There are statements from Adobe Employees indicating that the Android version is being worked on but no dates or expected time frames are made public.

Hello, is Adobe even working on a Android version or not?

In different threads at different times it gets mentioned that they are working on bringing Fresco to more devices or Operating Systems. Unless Adobe themselves put out a statement to indicate that they either definitely are, or definitely won't be there's little chance anyone in the forum can give you any sort of solid answer to that question. I have seen it stated that they definitely are doing Android, but no date is being given.

I'm trying to download adobe fresco on a chromebook. When I go to the windows download page, it pops up with: "Desktop apps won’t work on your Chromebook because it runs a mobile OS. The good news is your device can run the Android mobile version of Fresco." Then it links the google play store. When I click on the link, it just brings me back to the download fresco page. Searching for fresco on google play seperately doesn't bring up any results. It's not listed under the adobe apps. Fresco for android has been said to be coming since 2019, and falsely marked as being on the play store since 2022. At this point, I don't care if we don't get fresco on android, but don't falsely advertise it as being available on the play store and dangle it over our heads as being in development and close to a release date for nearly six years when it clearly isn't.

Why does Adobe hate Android users? Is this succeeding in fixing people into switching to Apple? I actually dislike Apple more because of this mess.

Forcing, not fixing. Can't edit replies.

i've seen people discuss this before, but on the website it says it's available for both ios and android devices, yet in the list of compatible devices there is no android, which leaves me confused...

No dates are offered by Adobe so no-one can really answer this question.
Agreed, it shouldn't currently say it's available for Android as well.

I haven't seen a hard date yet, but its rumored they should have it out sometime this year 2022.

Hi, Sorry for the delay. The flaw reported in the above screenshot has been fixed. Now, it is showing up as IOS only.

I know its frustrting for Android uses. The delay with Android devices has to do more with the nature of the Android OS. iOS/iPadOS came first because it was the easiest to design for. Most devices are on the current version of that OS and aside from RAM, there's no variation between devices. Windows came next because Specs of devices are all over the place, due to ease of customization. Android is taking longer because in terms of OS, its the wild west due to devices having their own skins over the OS, there's devices all over the place and the version of the OS is all over the place. It makes it hard to develop.

But is it coming out this year (2022)???
Why pull other drawing/sketching apps wothout first having a solution in place for Android users?

Adobe is 40 years old and very successful and rich. Can't they hire an Android developeer or two. C'mon man.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
