Fresco Has Issues with Features and Ultimately Crashes on Surface Pro

I have only just started to try Fresco and it has become disappointingly frustrating.  So far, the biggest issues are that the smudge tool only works sometimes and access to my CC Library is intermitten. Ultimately Fresco crashes the entire computer, and I have to do a hard reboot.   I am using a Surface Pro 6.
