How to create and save custom color palettes in Fresco?

Community Beginner ,
Nov 17, 2023 Nov 17, 2023

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to quickly create and save color palettes in Fresco?

Procreate has this functionality, which makes for a very easy workflow. Every time I go to draw, my colors are exactly where I left them.

In fresco, I have to manually add the colors I use most often every time I draw, which feels quite clunky.

Is there a way to save colors I use often to their own palettes in Fresco? Maybe I am missing something or not googling this properly.

This feature sure would be a lifesaver.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @stlawrence3g,

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, Fresco doesn't have a dedicated feature for creating and saving custom color palettes. However, your feedback is valuable, and many users have requested similar functionality.

You can add your voice and vote for this feature on Adobe Fresco's UserVoice page. The product and engineering teams often monitor this platform to prioritize features based on user feedback. Here's the link to the relevant suggestion: Create & Save Personal Color Palettes

Hi has this been considered as a feature yet? I am slightly baffled that this isn't l ready a thing. A huge no brainer it would actually make me consider switching back to procreates as this is a must surely?

Any progress? Lack of basic functionality like creating and saving palettes is, as Vicki says, slightly baffling. Starting to feel like I should follow Kyle T Webster back to Procreate.

Hi! I Actually discovered a shortcut/hack for this.

You can open you fresco file on Adobe Express, then create a "brand" and add the colors to the brand color pallete using the droper... The color pallete will appear on fresco on the color menu.
