Is there a way to change the new onion layer colour feature back to the previous version?

Hello, i was doing some animating today and found out about the new onion layer colour feature. But instead of being helpful, it is a bit irritating and won't let me see my previous frames correctly. Is there a way to change it back to the old version?

Do you reckon you could fix this please? It is impossible to work with when filled lineart becomes a pink silhouette. Not sure whose idea this was, but it is terrible!

Anubhav,

Can you fix this please? If for example I draw a simple face; round filed circle, two white eyes, a nose and a mouth... when I go to animate this using onion skin, I can only see the round face circle; no eyes, nose, or mouth. It is impossible to see the details. All we get is a silhouette to work with. Can you please add the ability to see the details?
