I created an illustration in Fresco and later renamed and reorganized the layers on the desktop in Photoshop. When I then saved the PSD file again as a cloud document, when I opened it again in Fresco on the iPad, all the layers were merged into one PS layer, which I can no longer edit in Fresco. However, I still need to make various adjustments to these layers. How can I solve this problem?

I have found the problem. I opened my Fresco file in Photoshop and added a new layer on which I had drawn a structure with a brush. When I then opened the file again in Fresco, the group containing this layer became uneditable (converted to a Photoshop layer). When I deleted this layer in PS, I was able to edit the group again in Fresco.
I find it very troublesome that the compatibility between PS and Fresco does not work properly. If I subsequently edit something in my Fresco file in PS, I have to reckon with the fact that I can no longer edit the file in Fresco, as the layers are displayed as uneditable PS layers.

Hello @belindak68818201,
Photoshop effects are currently not supported in Fresco. Would you mind creating a UserVoice for this feature request (https://adobe.ly/4hBLM4s) and adding your comments there? Doing this will help us prioritize this request, and you will be notified of any updates.
Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Hello Anubhav M
It was not an effect layer. I have already read in the community that effect layers are not supported. It also happens when I insert a normal empty layer. But thanks for your hint about UserVoice, which I will certainly do.
