New to Fresco!! Need Help!!

Hello Adobe Community, 

 

I am learning Fresco and I want to learn how to paint watercolor over my photo. When I load a photo, and start to paint, it switches to the mask box and if I use a color, it shows up as I am painting in that color. When I set the watercolor brush to Zero opacity, nothing is happening. If I have my small box highlighted on the photo, as soon as I touch the screen, it highlights my mask box. What am I doing wrong? Thank you and I look forward to hearing what I am not doing right.

Select the image layer, tap the three dots and convert layer to a pixel layer. Then you can watercolor directly on your image and use full transparency to paint with the colours within your original image.
