sketch has my favorite brushes, they're so realistic and have great textures. Fresco's brushes are just plain and subpar. I have procreate so I'd rather use that for nonrealistic/digital brushes than fresco tbh.

Hi.
Many of Sketch's brushes are in Fresco. Which in particular are you looking for?
Sue.

Hi.
Thanks for taking the time to list these brushes.
* The Soft Pastel brush from Sketch is in Pixel Brushes > Dry Media.
* There is a Watercolor Wash Flat brush in Live Brushes > Watercolor but I don't know whether the effect is the same as it is in Sketch.
* I do not see, or have any notes about, the Acrylic brushes that were in Sketch. I do see a Soft Acrylic brush in Pixel Brushes > Painting.
I'll share your brush comments/requests with the team.
Sue.

Thank you for making this. Idk how the people behind fresco can look at this and be like "close enough"

Hi Sue,
I've also requested this in Fresco suggestions. The soft pastel brush in Fresco is nothing like the soft pastel brush in Sketch and that's the brush I use for all my jobs, so I'm still working in Sketch. I'd love to transition to Fresco, but-
Hoping it can be added.
Thank you!

Anne.
I don't know what the plans are for additions to the default brush sets in Fresco but UserVoice (https://adobefresco.uservoice.com/) is the best place to post those types of requests.
Sue.

I haven't used Fresco at all becuase I was so in love with the acrylic brush in Sketch, and there is nothing like that brush in Fresco, or anywhere else for that matter. That sketch app and the acrylic brush was what prompted me to buy my first iPad when I saw it in the store.

Hello @MARK35294149eqlm,
I understand that having acrylic brushes in Fresco similar to the ones available in Sketch is important to you, and I apologize for their unavailability at this time. Would you mind upvoting this UserVoice (https://adobe.ly/4bGXyYn) and adding your comments there? Doing this will help us prioritize this request, and you will be notified of any updates.
Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.
Thanks,
Anubhav

I would commit crimes for the thick acrylic brush to be added to fresco!!! I have an unfinished piece sitting for years bc I can't finish without that brush 😞

Ha ha, I know exactly what you mean I feel the same way, I have tons of art work in process that I can't finish without that brush. It's also why I purchased my first I pad as that app and brush were on the iPad in the Apple Store. I was like , I have to have this iPad for the fresco and acrylic brush. There is no other brush like that in photoshop or anywhere. I don't know why there is no brush that is even close to that brush. And I don't know why they just discontinued it. I don't use that app anymore. Or any Adobe products any longer. I moved on to Folioscope.

Does Folioscope have a similar brush to the Adobe Sketch thick acrylic brush?

No Folioscope is very minimal. And it's an animation app for only iOS, meaning iPhones or iPads. It is a wonderful app though, and it has its own community where everyone posts their art/animation and you can comment and follow people. I been there since about 5 years.

Folioscope only has one pen too, with about 5 thicknesses, a rotate tool, a copy paste tool, a straight line tool a square tool a circle or oval tool, a paint bucket tool, and a couple other things. It's free but $1.99 for no ads. Sorry if this sounds like I'm trying to sell you it. But anyway, it's such a shame and unbelievable there is no acrylic brush like we had in adobe sketch, with all their brushes, and that no ones has made one like it. I'm not a programmer or anything but I wonder if it was too difficult to recreate or no one has imagined such a thing since. So many of my beloved things, tools, products, you love and then they just disappear.
