The new “paint inside” brush feature isn’t working (for me at least)

When I turn the feature on, the pixels still go outside the lines. Can someone please clarify how to make it work? The brief video tutorial didn't help. Thanks.

Can you give more detail of when it isn't working.

For me if I draw a thick line then reduce the size and start outside that previous block of colour it will paint outside the block and not inside.  If I start inside then it will only paint inside. So I think it might depend where you start your next stroke as to how the effect works.

The little Arrow on the tool lets you open up options such as Transparent areas only and Color margin.

Set the color margin to a higher number and see if that removes the border.

Hi Sjaani. Thank you for your help. It did not work for me yesterday because I enabled the setting, drew a circle and then painted inside it, finding that it doesn't work that way. Now I see that one has to have the setting disabled when you draw the shape you want to paint inside of and then turn on the setting when your next brushstroke is to paint inside.

Hi again. I hope you can help me with this again. As the attached screenshot shows, when I paint inside, using this new feature, there remains a thin unpainted border between the outsidestroke and the inside paint. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
