CS4 Design Standard Serial Number not accepted

Hi Adobe Community,

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and want to install my "old" CS4 Creative Suite Design Standard on it.

I found a page on the Adobe that enables to download CS4 software. They are all here except the Creative Suite Design Standard.

I picked the Illustrator one thinking that I would pick Photoshop and In Design afterwards.

It went well until I had to key in the Serial Number.

It was not accepted. Said:

Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite

Any idea?

you must use the suite that matches your serial number:

• Suites and Programs:  CC 2014 | CC | CS6 | CS5.5 | CS5 | CS4 | CS3
• Acrobat:  XI, X | 9,8 | 9 standard
• Premiere Elements:  12 | 11, 10 | 9, 8, 7
• Photoshop Elements:  12 | 11, 10 | 9,8,7
• Lightroom:  5.6| 5 | 4 | 3
• Captivate:  8 | 7 | 6 | 5
• Contribute:  CS5 | CS4, CS3

the thing was that I thought they would all be on the same page ! that is where I got confused

This is what I did!

But I am blocked at the end of the process with the Serial Number that is NOT accepted !!!!

Any advice to help me get this through?

if you're seeing an invalid serial number message, start here - Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite
