Thanks. My frustration was that whole PST thing. I tried the chat and didn’t get anything but more prompts and couldn’t connect.

Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .

Navigate to Control Panel  > Program And Features.

Under Programs list locate  " Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64)"  and uninstall the same .

When prompted  " Restart"  the computer .

Then uninstall   " Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64)"

Once you had uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64) . click on the below link and download " vcredist_x64.exe" and install the same .

Then launch Creative Cloud application and try to install Adobe Illustrator CC 2014 again and check.

Still same , follow below steps again :

Navigate to Control Panel  > Program And Features.

Under Programs list locate  " Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86)"  and uninstall the same .

Once you had uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86) . click on the below link and download " vcredist_x86.exe" and install the same .

Then launch Creative Cloud application and try to install Illustrator again and check.

As you can see in the Error description  unable to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86)"  and Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64)"

It is Ideal to uninstall those and reinstall updated version. which should fix this issue.

im 64bit and deleted and reinstalled 84
