Hi - I need to know if the Adobe Media Encoder supports WebM files, and if it can convert a WebM file (of at least 250mb) to a standard video file, such as mp4 or Quicktime.
Thank you! Although… The first one (WebM) is provided "as is"and the second one (OGG) is a beta, so very likely shouldn't be used in production. Thus, this reply shouldn't actually be marked a solution. These are very widely used formats I can't believe AME can't export.
This doesn't work in media encoder 2020. When I try to bring the presets in I get a message saying 'Preset could not be imported. No exporter found for this preset' . Any other way to make webm files? HELP!!!
Last year I was working with fnod plugin to convert to webms, but now it's impossible to run on the new M1 chip macs and no way for me to match the files from last year. It should really be a native feature.
It is some kind of hope but when I see that Microsoft Stream save its files as webm and there is no possibilities to edit it. New Ms Stream doesn't allow to cut or edit files.
Roadmap? Really? Question was asked back in 2016 and still no native support. Quite a few codecs that delivery platforms request that Adobe doesn't support *sigh*
