Hey community!
I've been using the new 3D updates to create some really nice digital art for my store. Lately, however, after using '3D > Inflate' succesfully at least a dozen times, AI has been crashing on me and I've had to force quit.
This is the error message: The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [PARM].
At first my files wouldn't render hi-res. Now it won't inflate at all. I've tried changing my file size from screen to large and nothing. I've successfully been able to render larger files just within the past few days. Suddenly, I can't produce anything and it's seriously slowing down business! Please help!
(working on macbook pro, 2016. latest version of OS)

Please anyone have any suggestions?? I've tried removing and resintalling AI, resetting preferences, smaller file sizes, text is outlined, everything is grouped. Not sure what else to try.

Have you updated Illustrator in that time?
Does it happen in all files or just one file?
Can you install an earlier version and see if it generates the same issue?

I have updated illustrator. Haven't tried using a previous version. Thank you for the suggestion. The only workaround is working on previously rendered files. I can make edits, render and save again. It seems to only be new files.

You will probably need to up the amount of RAM available on your machine. Latest versions require 16GB to function properly.

For 3D I would rather have 32 GB of RAM

Hello @Ana32334224vp7n,
We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter technical issues while working in Illustrator. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), a sample file (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/share-your-files-in-6-simple-steps/td-p/12967...), and a screen recording of the problem (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/screen-record-an-issue-on-windows-amp-macos-f...), so we can investigate this further?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav
